Discover Sport Vlaanderen's most versatile sports centre

In the heart of a magnificent 172-hectare natural estate, you will find a unique blend of sport, adventure and relaxation for young and old alike.

Take up the challenge in our outdoor and water sports paradise. Explore nature on the many hiking trails, running tracks, mountain bike trails and cycle routes that criss-cross our estate.

For the more adventurous, our tree-top adventure course with five different routes is an unforgettable way to push your limits.

We are constantly innovating. In 2024, our new outdoor swimming pool opened in our beach area, perfect for a refreshing dip in the heart of nature.

Plenty of possibilities indoors too

Indoor sports facilities are also available:

• a sports hall, suitable for most indoor sports.
• a gymnastics hall, with Olympic floor, trampoline track, tumblingtrack and apparatus area.
• a multi-purpose hall, with mirrors and free-running accommodation.
• an olympic skate hall

An archery range, an omnisports ground, a multi-purpose grass field and a climbing wall are also available on our grounds. These can only be used by groups accompanied by a Sport Vlaanderen instructor.

Our centre also scores on the recreational side. You can relax on our 650-metre long beach area, there are 2 playgrounds for the little ones and you can get a bite to eat and a drink at the beach bar het Zuiderbad or in the sports hall at Cantina California by Get Insane.

Generation smoke-free

All Sport Flanders centres are smoke-free. Smoking is prohibited inside the sports centre buildings. Smoking outside is only allowed in the designated smoking areas and not in the sight of young people.

Since 1 June 2019, everyone has been practising smoke-free sport with us. We do this following the ‘Generation Smoke-Free’ campaign. Already at the beginning of 2018, Sport Flanders, together with organisations like the Flemish Institute for Healthy Living and Kom op tegen Kanker, committed to promising children born from 2019 a smoke-free life. Thank you for helping our children grow up smoke-free.
