Clothing and safety regulations

To ensure the safety of riders and horses, specific regulations apply during our riding lessons. These rules must be strictly adhered to. Failure to comply with them will unfortunately result in the lesson being canceled.

Mandatory and recommended equipment:

  • Boots (without zippers on the inside and with a heel) or Jodhpurs (small boots) in combination with Chaps (leg protectors).
  • Suitable riding pants.
  • Loose, long clothing is not permitted for safety reasons, as the instructor must be able to assess and correct your riding posture.
  • Only short, close-fitting headgear is permitted under the riding hat.
  • A body protector (safety vest) is recommended but not mandatory.

Welfare of our horses:

Our horses deserve the best care. That is why we take their welfare into account by applying a maximum weight limit per horse. The number of available saddle sizes is limited, which may affect the options available. Do you have any questions about what this means for you? Please contact us personally.
