Terms and house rules
Overnight stay & permission
Overnight stays are only allowed after receiving a confirmation email from Sport Vlaanderen Genk based on the completed application form. Anyone staying overnight without approval or exceeding the requested number of persons risks a €50.00 fine.
Peace and nature
Avoid noise (no amplified music), especially in the evening after 10 pm and during the night. Do not damage plants, trees or animals.
Waste management
Sort your waste correctly and dispose of it only in the designated containers.
Campfire
Campfires are only allowed in the designated fire basket and if a fire extinguisher is available. Always extinguish the fire before going to sleep. Fires are only allowed when the basket is open. In case of code orange or red (drought), campfires are strictly prohibited.
Follow staff instructions
Staff instructions must always be followed for everyone’s safety and comfort.
Cleanliness of the campsite
Keep your camping spot clean and leave it tidy when you depart.
Tent placement
Tents may only be set up within the clearly designated camping zone.
Pets
Pets are only allowed if mentioned in advance on the application form and must always be kept on a leash.
Visitors
Visitors are only allowed with permission and must also follow the house rules.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation is possible up to 48 hours in advance via genk@sport.vlaanderen. A service fee of €5.00 will be charged.
