Pony riding familiarisation lessons
Discover the magic of pony riding
For children aged 6 to 8, we organise familiarisation lessons where they can get to know ponies in a fun and playful way. During these lessons, mum, dad or another accompanying adult walks alongside the pony. This allows the children to build up their confidence step by step.
The lessons take place every Sunday:
2:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.: riders with less than 5 lessons of experience
3:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.: riders with at least 5 lessons of experience
3:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.: riders with at least 10 lessons of experience
4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: riders with at least 15 lessons of experience
Price: €9.50 per lesson.
Important:
The familiarisation lessons are intended to introduce children to pony riding and do not guarantee progression to our beginner horse and pony riding lessons.

Am I entitled to a tax certificate if my child participates in sports lessons organised by Sport Vlaanderen?
Childcare expenses may qualify for a tax reduction, provided certain conditions are met. Participation in sports lessons does not entitle you to a tax certificate. A tax certificate only applies to childcare or child-minding services, which is not the case for sports lessons.

In the event of extreme weather conditions, Sport Vlaanderen reserves the right to reschedule lessons or offer an adapted programme, always with the welfare of the horses in mind.
